Grassroots Canvass

Planting Justice formally launched its canvass program this Spring 2012!

WORK WITH PLANTING JUSTICE AND HELP IN THE STRUGGLE FOR FOOD JUSTICE!

We're hiring Face-to-Face Fundraisers to build the local food justice movement!

The Planting Justice canvass program enables community organizers to build a broad and active constituency that is aware of the social, economic, and ecological harm of industrial food production; empowered with the skills, resources, and opportunities to participate in local solutions; and strategically coordinated in applying political pressure for city, state, and federal policy changes. As urban residents are invited block-by-block to build regenerative community gardens together, learn about food justice issues, or financially support these projects with small contributions, the Planting Justice canvass program financially and politically empowers urban residents to envision, advocate, and create a more just, equitable and healthy food system together.
