Lakeside Community Garden

Planting Justice is building up a food forest in the heart of Oakland's Lake Merritt neighborhood! Come out to one of our workshops to learn about urban permaculture principles, fruit tree guilds, companion planting, perennial plants, and more! We will be planting a lush understory of perennial vegetables, herbs, flowers, and fruiting shrubs to maximize the food production of a small, well-established urban orchard at the Lakeside Gardens to increase biodiversity and beauty!

Located at 666 Bellevue Avenue in Oakland.
