Highbush Cranberry (Viburnum trilobum)
Great plant as specimen or in hedges!
Beautiful and vigorous easy to grow large upright bush has huge umbels of lacy white flowers followed by a tremendous crop of bright red juicy berries, and intense crimson fall color. Berries are very healthy and make great preserves syrups and wine. Bush is also known as cramp bark and was used by Native Americans as well as herbalists today to relieve menstrual cramps. Plants grow 6-10 ft tall and can be planted in part shade or full sun. Self-fertile. Zones 3-9.
